Hunter and Snow

From building brands

to a return to

something personal

Jo Sagrestano, Hunter and Snow
For decades I lived inside deadlines. Inside strategy decks. Inside the deep psychology of design. My work was to understand what people couldn’t quite articulate, the unspoken wants, the quiet ambitions, the tension between who they were and who they hoped to become. I learned to read between the lines, to find the “why,” to build entire worlds around someone else’s vision. And I was really good at it...

But somewhere along the way, I realised I was giving that level of attention outward, and not inward. I could untangle anyone else’s dream, but I hadn’t slowed down enough to ask what mine looked like. There was a restlessness I couldn’t quite name. A sense that something tactile, something slower, something more personal was waiting to be acknowledged.

The shift wasn’t dramatic. It was quiet. It was choosing to spend time with myself. To notice what I’m drawn to. To pay attention to the way I rearrange a room three times in a season. To the instinct to collect, to build, to shape something with my hands instead of just my mind.

Everything here is created or chosen with that same spirit in mind. We make in small batches, by hand, allowing time for each piece to take shape. Nothing rushed, nothing overproduced, just thoughtful objects made to be part of your everyday. We hope you come back often to see what’s new.

The Create Series:

Paper Maché Magic

I’ve always loved those big, chalky paper mâché bowls, the ones that look like they’ve been pulled from a quiet old house in Provence. Soft-edged. Matte. A little imperfect.

Here’s my take.

It’s not fast. It’s not tidy. But it’s deeply satisfying, the kind of project that leaves you with wet hands, a dusty table, and something solid and sculptural at the end.

Even better if it’s done outside. On a sunny afternoon. With the kids dipping fingers into pulp and arguing over who gets the sieve.

The Create Series
Each month, step into something tactile. Something simple. Something made by hand. The Create Series is our gentle nudge to gather materials, clear a table, and try something slow. This winter, we’re making paper mâché bowls, chalky, imperfect, and beautifully timeworn.
